The Lincoln Gap Wind Farm will ultimately consist of 468MW of wind turbines. Construction started in 2017 and 35 turbines of the 126MW Stage 1 are fully operational, 24 turbines of the 86MW Stage 2 commenced generation into the national grid on 14 December 2021, and a further 256MW is under development. The project also includes a 10MW grid scale battery storage and is located near Port Augusta in South Australia.
Stage 1 achieved full commercial operation in May 2020 and Stage 2 is forecast to achieve full commercial operation in March 2022.
